At the start of this project, I placed a background photo behind the main images of the late artist, Pop Smoke, to set the tone and mood for the design.
I gathered additional images of Pop Smoke and used Photoshop to remove the backgrounds, allowing me to cleanly place them into the obituary layout. Once all the images were in place, I applied a black filter to them for a cohesive and respectful look.
To add movement and energy to the piece, I created a motion effect on one of the images located on the left side directly beneath his logo.
For the final touches, I featured Pop Smoke’s name along with his birth year and death year. I also added his well-known logo below that information and applied a "smoked-out" effect to tie in with his name and style. giving this piece something to remember in the future.
